Keeper’s Brazier

A metal standing brazier that gives a steady warm light.

Keeper’s Brazier

The Keeper’s Brazier is a sculpted lamp with a raised bowl and a narrow support. It emits light level 14 continuously after placement.

Braziers require no ongoing fuel and can be found by nearby Lantern Moths looking for working lights. Unlike the Keeper’s Lantern, the brazier has no cold variant to rekindle.

Place in the story

The standing brazier carries the Roadkeepers’ warm light into halls, courtyards and gardens. It helps connect larger communal spaces to the same lamp-lit welcome found at a shelter door.

Moths that seek a working brazier give those spaces a small resident life after the people have gone. A lit hall can remain useful to something even when its former keepers are absent.
