The Lantern Window is a sculpted, narrow stained-glass frame. It faces the player when placed and can be oriented horizontally.
It emits light level 6 and needs no fuel. Its frame is a single block model rather than a connecting vanilla glass pane.
Place in the story
A warm window can be read as the architectural version of a light above the door. Its amber pane repeats the lamp color within the building itself, linking a wall or upper room to the Roadkeepers’ recurring sign of shelter.
That connection is visual and thematic. The window is not an inscription or a separate chapter; the journal supplies the hospitality and later closures that give the repeated light its meaning.
