Lantern Crossroads is a small roadside discovery built around a fractured marker. A scalloped compass pavement, uneven surviving pillars and a copper crown make it visible without enclosing it in a building. Four short route arms carry the road motif out into the landscape.

Look near the marker for The Road inscription and check the supply container. The crossroads offers the same introduction to Roadkeeper hospitality as the shelter and camp, so finding it can begin your journal without taking you into a guarded dungeon.

Place in the story

Enna’s road notice asks that one light be left “For those behind.” The mender’s stop gives the same idea a practical form: keep spare stock and leave the road fit for the next traveler. The fractured marker is therefore more than a direction sign; it is a place where the next person’s needs were supposed to matter.

The quiet-lamp notice turns that instruction into an action you can repeat with a Lantern Fragment. The Road chapter provides the wider rule of hospitality. Reading the marker and leaving its lamp burning can be understood as continuing the work, without requiring a named quest giver to be present.
