The Roadside Shrine has an open approach, a stepped apse and a broken side arcade. Its suspended lantern gives the small building a clear center. Benches, flowers and an altar area make it a place to stop along the road.

A relic plinth carries The Road chapter, and a Lantern Moth lives near the lights. Use the Lens on the plinth to record the inscription, then search the site’s supply container. The shrine’s scale makes it an easy place to learn how the journal and resident moths work.

Place in the story

Enna’s Record gives the shrine a simple purpose: “We lit the road / so others could / come home.” Read beside the open vault and single suspended lantern, it makes the light an invitation rather than a sign of ownership.

The plinth’s Road chapter repeats that travelers need not know the keepers’ names to find shelter. A separate quiet-lamp notice asks for a fragment and says to leave the lamp burning. The shrine makes that earlier promise repeatable through an ordinary act of rekindling; it does not reveal who ultimately came home.
